Ok so when your out looking for a “skip” what are you packing lmao

In other words, what weapons are you carrying or are you allowed to carry?

We carry… I don’t know what Train keeps with him – I carry a .45 Kimber Semi Compact and a 380.

We also carry Mace, Stun guns etc… There are laws you have to follow and be very careful with in Colorado.

We are required to go through a specific training and learn what can and cannot be done as far as less than lethal and lethal force.

ok with that being said, do you think Dog and his crew are crazy for not carrying weapons?

For some of those guys, i would want a little more protection than mace or a paint ball gun, ya know.

I personally carry a .40 and my vest of course. But for really intense stuff my former team and myself would break out the Winchester 1300 Defender and the M-4. Depends on the charges on the defendant, and what their past arrest record looks like. Granted it is a job, but I still have a family to feed. My safety is number one!

And Wendy, to answer your question about Dog and the crew not carrying weapons…..Dog technically cannot be in possession of a firearm due to his status of being a convicted felon. Hope that helps out. :)

That’s a tough question. I know Dog doesn’t believe in Guns. I also need clarification but I don’t think he is allowed to carry either way because of his prior felony.

Many in the Bail Bonding industry don’t believe in guns, and rightfully so. There is a lot of responsibility among other things involved with carrying a gun. I personally feel much safer carrying a gun. Other Bail Enforcement Officers may disagree. It’s more or so personal preference.

I feel much more comfortable carrying a firearm. I would say there is little to no chance (and I hope that’s true) that I’d ever have to use it, but the one time you don’t carry is when you have some guy shooting at you and you wish you did.
