I figured this was kind of a stupid question but I found someone lingering on one of my other websites trying to find out information why Dog the Bounty Hunter might have a badge.
The reason is simple: Dog the Bounty Hunter as well as hundreds of other bounty hunters / bail enforcement agents wear badges is to show that the specified person is a certified fugitive recovery agent and may perform such actions in accordance within Colorado State LawC.R.S 12-7105.5 and the Supreme Court Ruling Taylor v. Taintor 83 U.S. 366 (1872).
